Our Story:

It all began with a simple match on Facebook Dating—and the rest, as they say, is history. When Cory and I first met, I was in nursing school, and from the very beginning, he supported my dreams wholeheartedly. Just six months into our relationship, Cory relocated to Ohio for work. The distance wasn’t easy, but for two years we embraced a long-distance relationship that only made us stronger. After I graduated, I made the move to Ohio—and we haven’t looked back since.

For our very first date, Cory arrived at my house with a dozen rose-gold roses—a thoughtful gesture that meant the world to me, especially since I had mentioned early on how much I love rose gold. It was one of the first of many moments that showed just how deeply he listens and cares. After dinner at Third Base Restaurant & Pub, we took a spontaneous drive to the Fire Tower in Keyser, WV. As we stood overlooking the mountains, Cory asked me to be his girlfriend—and that moment became the beginning of our forever.

Since that day in 2020, our lives have been filled with love, laughter, and adventure. On June 4, 2025, we celebrated five wonderful years together. What makes our relationship so special is that we’ve always been a team—supporting each other equally and cherishing both the little joys and the big dreams. Whether traveling, building our first home, or enjoying everyday life, we love creating memories side by side.

On Christmas Day 2024, Cory proposed in the home we built together—surrounded by my mom and dad, who were just as surprised and emotional as I was. He later shared that while he had originally planned to propose at the beach, he knew it would mean more to me to have my parents there. That thoughtful choice captured everything I love about him—and everything I love about us.
